Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft).

After landing at the Tribhuvan international Airport you will meet with our trek team members near the terminal gate holding your nameplate. He will take you to the hotel and quickly inform you regarding the further program. For today, you are free to rest and explore nearby areas on your own.

This is an extra day in Kathmandu that will let you relax after your long flight to Kathmandu. If it's your first time in Nepal You might do sightseeing by yourself at a few monuments like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Boudhnath Stupa, etc. And today, you will prepare for the trek. In the afternoon, you meet with the trek guide, and he will let you know about further trek plans. If anything is missing for the trek, your trek guide will help you to shop.

After having a delicious breakfast, you drive to Besisahar along the Trishuli River, enjoying lush green hills, colorful terraced fields, and small settlement areas. The drive will be long but scenic.

Today, you will continue your drive towards Dharapani. Passing by Chamje, you will hit the rocky route, following Marsyangdi River and head to Tal. From here, you will cross a wide flat valley and ascend to Dharapani for a night stay.

From Dharapani, the trail steeply ascends through forested ridges. On the way, you will come across many landslide-prone areas. Likewise, stunning views of Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, and Lamjung Himal make the walk fascinating.

The trail passes through a steep and narrow valley. After walking for a bit, you get to see the first view of Paungda Danda rock face. It is a huge curved rock rising 1,500 meters from a river. Further, enjoying beautiful views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak, you descend to Pisang.

You will see two routes from Pisang that lead to Manang. Walking through the Upper Pisang route via Geru, you head towards Manang. This route offers sensational views of several snow-capped mountains. On the way, you will stop at Barge monastery, the biggest monastery in Manang district.

Here comes your rest day to allow your body to adjust with the altitude before moving further. You will explore the nearby areas and visit Bhojo Gumba. If you want, you can also visit Gangapurna Lake. There are so many things to do and see around Manang.

Leaving Manang behind, the trail continues along with the western gate and descends to a river. Crossing the river, you walk along its southern side and pass by coniferous forest. The trail takes you to Kangsar village and ascends to Siri Kharka. On the way, you pass by a monastery and get to see Gungang Himal and Mt. Chulu.

After having a warm breakfast, you continue trekking towards Tilicho Base Camp. The trail to the base camp is very steep and difficult. Be careful while ascending and follow the lead of your guide.

Today, you will visit the stunning Tilicho Lake, which is also known as the jewel of the western Himalayas. The trail from base camp gradually ascends steeply to a watershed. From here, you walk through the grazing site and reach the lake. Nestled at the foot of Tilicho Peak, Tilicho lake is also known as the Great Ice Lake and holds holy importance as well for Hindus. After spending some time at the lake, you descend to Siri Kharka to spend the night.

The trail leads to Khangsar village and passes by Tare Gumba. This gumba is believed to be a thousand years old. From Khangsar village, you follow a rock wall and cross a seasonal bridge over Thorong Khola. Further, you ascend and reach Yak Kharka for a night stay.

The trail from Yak Kharka crosses a suspension bridge and takes you to Ledar village. From here, you ascend slowly towards Thorong Phedi. The trail offers wonderful views of Thorong Peak, Mt. Gundang, Mt. Khatungkan, Mt. Syagang, etc.

Today, you will be crossing the very famous and difficult Thorong La Pass. The trail to the top of the pass is steep and rocky. Upon reaching the top of the pass, you get to see breath-taking landscape views. After spending some time at the pass, you descend to Muktinath for a night stay. Muktinath is a very significant pilgrimage site in Nepal for both Hindus and Buddhists.

You will wake up early and visit the main temple. After that, you will continue trekking toward Jomsom. The trail passes by Kagbeni and descends to Jomson, a very pretty village.

Today, you will fly to Pokhara. The fight will offer great views of snow-capped Himalayan mountains. Upon landing at the airport, you head to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own. In the evening, don't forget to do boating on the tranquil Fewa Lake and explore the vibrant Lakeside marker.

After having breakfast, you drive to Pokhara. The drive will follow the same route as before. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you head to the hotel. Explore Thamel and do shopping. In the late evening, join a farewell dinner organized by the company with the rest of the team members.

This is your last day in Kathmandu. As per the flight departure time, our team members will drop you at the airport and bid you our last goodbye.

Были в путешествии осенью 2019 года. Нас хорошо встретили и разместили в Катманду. Транспорт к началу маршрута был комфортным. Для помощи в переноске вещей нас сопровождали местные портеры. Местный гид отлично организовал проживание в гестхаусах, хорошее питание и досуг - были в самом высокогорном кинотеатре. С погодой на треке очень повезло. вся группа успешно прошла маршрут и радиальные треки. Рекомендую ребят, с ними можно ходить в походы !
