Similarly, trekking in the Langtang region lets you observe the rich culture and tradition of Tamang and Sherpa people. The trail to the beautiful Langtang village has a gentle pace, which makes Langtang Gosaikunda Trek 13 Days one of the best options for beginner trekkers.

Langtang region is the closest Himalayan region to travel from Kathmandu. Only a few hours of drive from the bustling capital city will take you into the tranquillity of the Himalayas. Even though the trail is easily accessible, Langtang Gosaikunda Trek offers equally rewarding experience and breath-taking views like any other famous trekking trails of Nepal.

During the Langtang Gosaikunda Trekking, you will be watching numerous gigantic glaciers, snow-covered Himalayan mountains, picturesque villages, dense forests of rhododendron, bamboo, pine, oak, etc, cascading waterfalls, lush green pastures, colorful terraced fields, and animals grazing on the fields. Not only this, centuries-old monasteries, stupas, chortens, prayer walls, and prayer flags add a splash of color on the trail. As you will pass by the villages or spend nights in different villages, you will get to meet with locals and interact with them. People here are called the descendants of Tibetans, therefore their practices, norms, and values match with them. The locals are extremely friendly and welcoming so do nature.

Over the past few years, Langtang Gosaikunda Trekking has gained the heart and eyes of hundreds of travelers from all around the world. Still, Langtang Gosaikunda Trek is not as famous as Everest Base Camp Trek or Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Therefore, the trail is comparatively less crowded and not so developed with very limited infrastructures, making it an ideal package for someone looking for a serene journey.

Stunning mountains like Langtang Lirung (7,345m), Dorje Lakpa (6,966m), Langshisha Ri (6,427 m), Kimsung (6,781m), Gang Chenpo (6,388m), YansaTsenji (6,575m), Naya Kanga (5,846m), etc accompany you throughout the trek. You will visit the Kyanjin Gompa, the oldest monastery of the Langtang region, and hike up to Tserko Ri to enjoy glorious sunrise and surreal landscape. Moreover, you also visit the famous cheese factory, where you can taste a variety of cheese and other delicacies. Further, the trail ascends to Gosaikunda Lake, a holy lake of Nepal, where hundreds of pilgrims come together to worship and celebrate the festival every year.
