Langtang, Gosaikunda & Helambu Trek is one of the most adventurous journeys in the Himalayas. Located in the north of Kathmandu, the Langtang region itself is famous for its quick access to the Himalayas, unlike any other region. Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu Trek lets you explore the pristine and holy lake called Gosaikunda Lake. Not only this, we High Spirit Adventure have specially designed our Langtang Gosaikunda Trek itinerary adding Helambu Trek to present you picturesque valleys of Langtang region and remote ethnic villages along with Langtang National Park, superb views of Himalayan mountains, spectacular scenery, and divine lake. These remote ethnic villages have been resided by people from Sherpa and Tamang communities. The villages here are popular for their rich culture, religion, and generous people.

As Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu Trekking will take you to Langtang National Park, you will get to witness a huge variety of floras and faunas preserved inside the park. Most part of the trail goes through lush forests of rhododendron and bamboo, where you might get to see the rare red panda and several other wildlife. Moreover, the Gosaikunda area is a religious site for Hindus, and as per Hindu mythology attributes Gosaikunda as the abode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Gauri. Along the way, you will get to see panoramic views of Mt. Annapurna (8,091), Mt. Manaslu (8,156 m), Langtang Range (7,234 m), Mt. Gaurishanker (7,134 m), Buddha Himal (7,200 m), Mt. Dorje Lhakpa (6,966 m), and Ganesh Himal (7,429 m).

You will begin your adventurous Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu Trek 17 Days with a drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi in a private tourist bus/van. The drive will be long and offers scenic views. Syabrubesi is the starting point of your trek. You will trek towards picturesque Langtang village via Lama Hotel. From Langtang village, you will ascend to Kyanjin Gompa where you will take a day off for acclimatization. Further, you will descend down to Lama Hotel and move towards Thulo Syabru. The trail from here onwards leads to Gosaikunda village en route Lauribina. Spending a night at Gosaikunda, you will move to Mangengoth village crossing Laurebina La Pass (4,610 m) and Gopte. Trekking along with the beautiful landscape view, you will reach Melamchi Gaon and head towards Melamchi Bazar from where you will drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft).

After landing at the Tribhuvan international airport you will meet with our trek team members near the terminal gate holding your nameplate. He will take you to the hotel and quickly inform you regarding the further program. For today, you are free to rest and explore nearby areas on your own.

This is an extra day in Kathmandu that will let you relax after your long flight to Kathmandu. If it's your first time in Nepal You might do sightseeing by yourself at a few monuments like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Boudhnath Stupa, etc. And today, you will prepare for the trek. In the afternoon, you meet with the trek guide, and he will let you know about further trek plans. If anything is missing for the trek, your trek guide will help you to shop.

After having breakfast, you begin a long drive towards Syabrubesi. The drive will offer amazing views of snow-capped mountains like Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang range, etc. Driving along the Trishuli River, you ascend to Dhunche and drive through the Langtang National Park to reach Syabrubesi.

Crossing the Bhote Koshi river, you will gradually ascend through subtropical forests. The trail passes by beautiful rhododendron and oak forest, where you might come across Langur monkeys. Before reaching the Lama Hotel, you will trek on a steep path.

From Lama Hotel, the trail ascends through dense forest and takes you to Ghora Tabela. On the way, you can see wonderful views of Langtang Lirung and other mountains. Further, passing by the rock field, you will reach Langtang village and move towards Mundu to spend the night.

The trail ascends through yak pastures and crosses several different streams & moraines. You will soon reach Kyanjin Gompa and explore around the village. Later, in the evening, you will also visit the gompa.

This is a rest day to acclimate your body with the changing altitude. You will hike to Tserko Ri after having a warm breakfast. From Tserko Ri, you can see views of snow-capped mountains like Langtang Lirung and Kyanjin Ri. Later, in the day, you will explore the village and its nearby areas as well as spend time with locals.

Following the same trail back, you descend to Lama Hotel. The trail goes along Langtang Khola and passes by Ghore Table. From here, you continue trekking on a downhill steep trail and reach Lama Hotel.

From Lama Hotel, you descend to Pairo and reach near a river. Crossing the river, you ascend towards Thulo Syabru, enjoying an astonishing landscape. The trail further passes through fine Tamang villages and juniper forest, where you can see different species of birds.

Trekking through Dimsa village, you pass by Durdagang and Foprang Danda. Further, you trek through lush rhododendron and oak forest to reach Sing Gompa. Likewise, you will also get to see different Himalayan mountains. In Sing Gompa, you will visit the local cheese factory and the monastery.

After having breakfast, you ascend to Chalang Pati, enjoying stunning views of Mt. Langtang Lirung and the Tibetan mountains. The trail will take you to Laurebinayak and head towards Gosaikunda. Before reaching Gosaikunda, you will pass by holy Saraswati Kunda and Bhairav Kunda.

You wake up early in the morning and visit Gosaikunda Lake. You will then ascend following rugged moraines. On the way, you can see beautiful small lakes and landscapes. Crossing Laurebinayak pass, you descend to Ghopte passing through Phedi.

The trail today takes you to a famous Sherpa village called Melamchi Gaon. The trail passes a suspension bridge and descends slowly through the forested path to the Melamchi Gaon.

The trail descends to Tarkeghyan. On the way, you pass by many chortens, stupas, and colorful prayer flags. Crossing a bridge over Melamchi Khola, you reach indigenous Hyolmo village of Tarkegyang.

The trail passes by a dirt road and ascends through lush forest. Further, you trek through another dirt road and reach Sermathang. On the way, you can enjoy views of Jugal Himal, Dorje Lhakpa, and Panch Pokhari Lakes.

After having breakfast, you begin trekking towards Melamchi Bazar. The trail descends through Thimbu and forested paths. Upon reaching Melamchi Bazar, you take a small break and drive back to Kathmandu. In the evening, you will join the farewell dinner organized by the company.

Today, you will leave for your home. As per your flight departure time, one of the team members will drop you at the international Airport.
