Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek offers an adventurous and wild venture in one of the remotest parts of the Himalayas. Standing alone along the eastern border of Nepal and India, Mt. Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world. This towering cliff is also known as the Five Treasures of the Great Snow- gold, silver, precious stones, grain, and holy scriptures. Trekking in the Kanchenjunga region has opened since 1988, and is now considered one of the exotic routes for challenge admirers.

Kanchenjunga region falls under the restricted parts of Nepal, which requires expensive special permits from the government of Nepal to visit. This itself is enough to control the tourist flow in the region, and the isolation of the region is another huge aspect that attracts only the true travel enthusiasts willing to adjust, making the trail less crowded and tranquil. If you are someone looking for solidity and raw natural beauty, then Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek 25 days is the best option for you.

Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek goes through Kanchenjunga Conservation Area, where you will come across numerous vegetation and wildlife like Himalayan black bear, snow leopards, Assamese macaque, etc. The trail includes several forests of rhododendron, juniper, birch, fir, pine, etc. Likewise, you pass by many remote mountain villages, where you get to see the daily lifestyle and culture of the locals. As the altitude will increase, the region will get more and more isolated with a very unique lifestyle and values of the locals.

Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trekking offers views unlike any other trekking destinations in Nepal. From breath-taking landscapes to the views of high Himalayan mountains like Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), Mt. Yalung Kang (8,505 m), Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586m), Mt. Jannu (7,710 m), Mt. Makalu (8,481m), etc. Likewise, the trail is also full of many ancient chortens, colorful prayer flags, monasteries, and stupas. Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek not only offers adventure but equally presents the cultural richness.
